Because of increased demand, our turnaround time is typically 4 weeks, but can vary depending on the order. If time is of the essence, please reach out and let us know what you’re after and we will try to find a solution with our available inventory.

Our tents aren’t for everyone. If you are in need of a cheap tent to last a season or two, by all means, we can send you in that direction. On the other hand, if you’re looking for a high-performance canvas shelter with a simple, year-round frame system that’s overbuilt to be the last tent standing, you’ve come to the right place.

Our tents are 100% made by hand by talented craftspeople at our factory in North Carolina. The construction materials and methods we choose are as eco-friendly and sustainable as possible. Can your big-box store tent say the same?

We’re happy to offer a wide variety of tent sizes and dimensions to fit all your needs. Our largest tent is a spacious 12′ x 16′, while our smallest is a cozy 7′ x 9′.

We love customizing tents and shelters to suit your needs and make them your own. While a fully made-to-order business model is our goal, we are currently at capacity with what our staff can handle. At this time we are only able to provide our current designs at the moment. The second this changes, we’ll shout it to the world. Rest assured, each piece of craft gear we manufacture is thoughtfully made, with intention behind every stitch.

While we would love to include platform materials with our tents, the cost of shipping lumber would be quite costly. We do provide design plans and specs for everything you will need to build for the best wall tent experience.  

Our Combat II Tent is a longtime customer favorite, but unfortunately all good things must come to an end. As of 2022, we have stopped production on all of our compact, packable tent models as we transition to larger canvas wall tents. Rest assured, if we ever bring these older styles back for our military customers we’ll be sure to shout it from the rooftops!

Our retired Free Spirit tents do not use flame-retardant chemicals on the tent body, footprint or fly. For folks who have chemical sensitivities, please note that these tents do contain a coating to help with water-resistance.

Several of our wall tent and rainfly fabrics are PFAs free, including our Tough Duck and Weathermax fabrics.

Coming in Fall of 2024: our new line of glamping tents made with natural fabrics and coatings that are safer for the health and environment. Stay tuned!

Before a new product hits the market we rigorously test its durability and construction to ensure the fabric and materials can withstand the toughest of conditions – wind, rain and snow. You can sleep comfortably in our wall tents, knowing we have thoroughly tested it for you!

We have a long history of contract manufacturing partnerships, including with the U.S. Military, The North Face, L.L. Bean, R.E.I and many other wonderful brands and businesses. At this time, we do not have the resources and capabilities to prioritize these partnerships but for the right fit, anything is possible. Please reach out to our friends at Carolina Textile District who can help determine whether we, or another reputable local manufacturer, could be the best resource to make your product dreams a reality.

We are dedicated to reducing our fabric waste and our Sustainability Programs, the Revival Tent Rescue and Moonrise Project are dedicated to creatively reusing all of the scraps from fabric cutting, as well as “retired tents” that we take back, clean, break down, and repurpose.

As a direct-to-consumer manufacturer, our pricing reflects what goes into making high quality, hand-made gear in the USA, without the markup that you’d find from a traditional retailer. Shipping costs depend on the exact location and items ordered. If you provide the address the package is going to as well as the items you are wanting to order we’re happy to provide an estimate in advance! Check out our shipping page for more info.

Note: We currently are not set up to ship internationally, but we can ship to any US distribution center where you can make arrangements for it to be sent from there.

In the past we’ve opened our factory store and show room by appointment only, but beginning July 2024 we’re inviting customers to join us for Factory Fridays, from 1-4pm each Friday.

Most people don’t realize that our roots are in outdoor gear manufacturing, AND in brick and mortar retail. All of the products for sale in our Factory Store are made in-house, just as was the case in 1964.

We offer weekly tours of our factory and tent yard as part of our Factory Friday’s event series. Conditions apply.
