DIAMOND BRAND’s HISTORY WITH THE U.S Military

THE WORLD WARS

In the 1940s, Diamond Brand jumped into the war effort alongside the rest of the country, supplying top-notch canvas products from our military combat tents and packs to stretchers and canvas wall tents that were used as field hospitals. By the end of the war, Diamond Brand had completed 144 different government contracts. 

THE GULF WARS

Our military grade, four-man tent known as the Soldier Crew Tent went into production in 1989. With the onset of the Perisan Gulf war in 1991, we were contracted by the U.S. government to produce this new military tent design for Army tank crews. By the end of the war, our workers had manufactured over 8,000 of these military combat tents. This solidified Diamond Brand’s place as a significant contractor for the U.S. military.

Our canvas military tents are tough, making them ideal for long-term survival and hunting. We craft these military-inspired canvas tents with durable 13oz polyester/cotton fabric that is treated to be fire retardant, mildew resistant, and water resistant. Hand-sewn and sealed seams, triple reinforced corners, and sturdy grommets add to long-term durability. Outlast the elements with a piece of military-grade gear that will perform season after season. Our canvas tents are very customizable and can be configured for your specific use.

If you are looking to set up a large campsite for use by large families or groups, our large canvas tents can work for sleeping, mess kitchens, bathrooms, or any other need. You can customize your military canvas tent with screen doors, add a stove jack, and extend the life of your tent with shade flys and rain flys that can also provide up to eight feet of vestibule space.
